This game is excellent for beginning, elementary, and early intermediate students. Stinky Sox cards are come in 2 levels, divided into 4 categories:
- Keyboard Skills
- Theory Knowledge
- Singing / Ear Training
- Acting
To play, place the Stinky Sox cards in an old, dirty looking sock. Students sit in a circle and pass around sock while listening to music. When the music stops playing, the student with the sock pulls out a card and follows the instructions.

Affirm-a-term - PDF Download
This game is excellent for elementary, intermediate, and advanced students of all ages.To play, divide players into 2 teams and sit in a large circle alternating team members. The first player is given a stack of cards and has 1 minute to describe as many of the words on the cards so that their team members are able to guess the correct word. The player to the right of the student (on the opposite team) should watch to make sure the student does not use any form of the word in their descriptions. After 1 minute, points are calculated and the next student in the circle (on the opposite team) gets a turn. The game is over when a given time period has elapsed or everyone has had a turn to “Affirm-a-term.”
