This is such a wonderful post. Thanks Wendy and Kevin for taking the time to write so thoughtfully. I’m going to print these two posts out for all my budding composers! Rarely have I read such practical and useful advice.

Dr. Costley and his daughter are good friends of mine. He told me about this website. I would like to say that the first part of his answer to #9 does NOT surprise me at all! But I find the second part of that answer very encouraging.
