This is a wonderful collection of advice from Ira Glass, writer and host of This American Life. It’s great advice to the young songwriters that I trained last week, and even continues to be good advice for me though more experienced in composing.

Isn’t this the case with most everything? I’ve been finding that with creating a Music Camp, even though I have some excellent help through other teacher’s websites and games – it’s still ME that has to make it happen! So glad I had an excellent school teacher help me with lesson plans – to even know how and where to start. She’s excellent with “big picture” and I am better with the “small and individual;” she mentored me well; this year isn’t so scary!
In fact, I’m already thinking ahead to next year.
Oh, back to the Day Plans!
